Dear Friends, I'm sure you all know my Dad, Sam Polis. I'm his daughter Diane. My husband is retiring from the U.S. Foreign Service, and we are moving to Connecticut specifically to watch after my parents, Sam and Betty Polis. Now that I am here, I can help my Dad get around town, which was most recently difficult for him. I would like him to be involved with the Memorial Day Parade as he has done in the past. For now, you can reach me at my parents' home at 203-762-0666. Thanks for all the good memories that you've given my Dad. He really enjoyed your welcome at the Veteran's Day memorial last November 2012, when my two sons brought him to the Wilton Center. Best Regards, Diane

My dad was a member of this Legion post for many years, I spent many Memorial Days at the post and in the parade with my family. I especially loved the Christmas party you used to have (back in the late 50's early 60's) when I was a little girl. The Legion hall has a fond and important place in my memories of growing up in Wilton. Very nice site! I would love to see a list of past members. Thanks. My dad's name was J. Norman Cote, the finest man I have ever known.
